URGENT PROJECTS

Charitable Aid
Delivery Service

URGENT is a non-profit charitable organisation, based in London, UK. We operate and deliver aid internationally.

At the present time our primary mission is to assist Ukrainian civilians affected by the Russian war of aggression. We deliver aid in the form of food, medicine, toys, textbooks, personal hygiene products, medical equipment and other essential items.

In Ukraine, we rely on a carefully constructed network of partners and volunteers who help identify those in need, and then deliver aid — sometimes literally from hand to hand, often at risk to their own lives.

We have also put together an array of charitable donors and suppliers of goods and services in the UK and around the world. This enables us to deliver aid innovatively, both faster and more efficiently than many other charities.

We are proud to say we have already collected over £2.5 million in donations from businesses and individuals, and have delivered over 500 tonnes of aid to the most vulnerable individuals, mostly women, children and the elderly.

Our process

Because we provide aid to specific recipients on an ad hoc basis, each of our projects is unique and tailored to meet the most pressing needs of the people we intend to help. Nevertheless, at URGENT, we always follow the same rigorous process:

1

Request received and verified

Anyone in urgent need can request our support. (Our current priority is Ukraine.)

2

Supplier found

Generally takes anywhere from several days to several weeks. (We’ve already developed a pool of reliable partners and are constantly expanding it.)

3

Project presented to donors

Typically within a few weeks after the initial request.

4

Funding secured

On average, within 3–6 weeks after the initial request.

5

Goods purchased and shipped

Usually 3–6 weeks after the initial request.

6

Delivery audited and documented photographically

Normally 1-2 months after the initial request.

7

Report published

Typically within a month since the initial request.
