Medical Equipment for Young Patients of the Destroyed “Okhmatdyt” Children's Hospital in Kyiv

Aid recipient
The Kyiv City Children Clinical Hospital №1

A Russian missile strike destroyed part of the Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv on 8 July 2024. Its intensive care units, oncology departments and surgery units were seriously damaged.

Two hospital staff members were killed, and eight children injured, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.

The young patients were urgently transferred to different hospitals in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, including to the Kyiv City Children Clinical Hospital No.1.

We are urgently helping to organise a mobile department in this hospital for children temporarily relocated from the Okhmatdyt, as the existing equipment is sorely lacking due to the increasing flow of patients.
